MIND Privacy Policy

Data We Collect

MIND may collect or process the following data when you use the app:

• Email address and User IDs for Google Login and account management
• Journal text, emotion or mood records, AI conversation content, and related user content
• App activity, diagnostics, crash or error information, and device or other identifiers
• Purchase history and subscription status through Google Play Billing
• Wellness-related information you choose to enter, such as mood, stress, reflection, or self-awareness content

MIND requests camera access so you can add a photo from the camera or photo picker inside a journal flow. Current app behavior does not indicate that selected photos are uploaded to the backend.

How We Use Data

Google Login is used for account identity, sign-in state, and account management.

Google Play Billing is used for subscriptions, purchase verification, and membership status.

Backend sync is used to save, sync, and restore journal, mood, emotion, AI conversation, and app state.

AI journal reflection and AI conversation features use DeepSeek for text and chat processing. User journal content, emotion context, and AI conversation messages may be sent to the AI provider to generate responses.

Sharing

MIND does not contain ads by default. Data may be processed by service providers needed to operate the app, including Google Login, Google Play Billing, backend infrastructure, diagnostics services, and the AI provider used for requested AI features.

Security, Retention, and Deletion

MIND uses encrypted network connections for app and backend communication where applicable.

User journal content, emotion records, AI conversation content, and cloud sync data are retained until you delete the content or delete your account, unless a longer period is required for legal, billing, security, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.

When you delete your MIND account, the product policy requires deletion of account data, journal entries, emotion records, AI conversations, and cloud sync data. De-identified technical usage records may remain for security, reliability, cost, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons.

Children and Health Disclaimer

MIND is intended for adults and is not targeted to children.

MIND supports self-awareness, emotion reflection, stress management, relaxation, and life reflection. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services.

Changes

We may update this policy when MIND changes its data practices, app features, service providers, or Google Play compliance requirements.
