Bisha Fishing Harbor

Overview

Bisha Harbor sits on the east side of Keelung and is famous for its tourist fish market and sashimi. Its spacious, easily reached grounds make it a popular family and beginner spot in northern Taiwan. Actual fishing zones follow the port authority's on-site notices.

Terrain & depth

Mainly breakwaters and harbor walls, with tetrapods near the outer wall; depth varies with the tide.

Recommended tide/season

Bites are better around high tide and at dawn/dusk; summer nights offer squid, while the winter NE monsoon has a strong effect.
