Stickbaits are one of the most versatile GT lure families because they can look natural without losing the profile and strength needed for big fish.
Floating stickbaits
Floating models stay near the surface and can be walked, swept or allowed to pause.
Best for:
β’ shallow reef edges
β’ calm to moderate water
β’ visible followers
β’ fish that reject loud poppers
Sinking stickbaits
Sinking models cut wind, hold depth and remain useful when fish sit below the surface.
Best for:

Sweep-and-pause
A common retrieve is a smooth sweep followed by line recovery and a short pause. The lure glides rather than exploding forward.
Speed changes
If fish follow, change only one variable at a time:

Current
Current changes lure action. A lure that looks perfect in still water may roll or become unstable cross-current. Learn the lure beside the boat or shore before making long casts.
