Overview
Shen'ao Harbor in Ruifang, New Taipei, lies beside the Elephant Trunk Rock and Fanziao headland. It is a popular recreational harbor and a launch point for rock and boat fishing, with anglers both inside and outside the harbor. Actual fishing zones follow the port authority's on-site notices.

Harbor walls meet rocky outcrops outside; the outer wall and nearby reef have steep drops and noticeable swell.
Recommended tide/season
Bites are better around high tide; summer night squid fishing is popular, while winter NE monsoon waves demand caution.

Accessed from the coastal Provincial Highway 2 with parking available, near the Shen'ao promontory trail.
