Overview
Fugui Harbor in Shimen, New Taipei, sits near Cape Fugui at the northernmost tip of Taiwan's main island and is famous for its tourist fish market and seafood. The harbor is calm with scenic surroundings. Actual fishing zones follow the port authority's on-site notices.

Mainly harbor walls and breakwaters; the outer side adjoins the rocky Cape Fugui coast with more open wave conditions.
Recommended tide/season
Bites are better around high tide; the winter NE monsoon brings strong wind and waves, so watch sea conditions closely.
Parking & access
Accessed via the coastal Provincial Highway 2 with parking, near the Cape Fugui lighthouse trail and tourist fish market.
